Terms & Conditions of SEEYA In Transit
Last Updated: 29 August 2025
By booking with SEEYA In Transit (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“the client” or “you”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are binding and should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Services Provided
SEEYA In Transit acts as a travel agency, assisting with travel planning, bookings and reservations. We work with airlines, hotels, tour operators and service providers (“suppliers”). Your bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers in addition to ours.
2. Booking and Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once payment (full or deposit, where applicable) has been received and you have received written confirmation from us.
You are responsible for providing accurate personal and travel details, including names matching your passport/ID. We will not be liable for costs arising from errors in the information you provide.
3. Payments
All payments are processed securely through PayFast. We do not store full payment card details.
Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise specified.
Failure to make payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of your booking.
4. Cancellations, Refunds and Changes
Cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the supplier (airline, hotel, tour operator). We will communicate the relevant policy at the time of booking.
Our service fees are non-refundable.
We are not responsible for refunds denied by suppliers but will assist you in facilitating any claims.
Any changes to bookings (dates, names, destinations) may incur additional charges from suppliers.
5. Travel Documents and Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that you have valid passports, visas, permits, vaccinations and any other required documentation for your travel.
We are not liable for losses resulting from failure to meet entry, exit or health requirements of any country.
6. Liability
SEEYA In Transit acts as an agent and does not control the operations of airlines, hotels or other suppliers. We are not responsible for:
Flight delays, cancellations or schedule changes.
Loss or damage to luggage or personal belongings.
Injuries, illnesses, accidents or death during travel.
Our liability is limited to the value of the booking fee paid to us, except where otherwise required by law.
7. Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, personal belongings and unforeseen events.
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics or civil unrest.
9. Data Protection
We process your personal data in line with POPIA (South Africa) and GDPR (EU/UK) requirements. This includes passport details collected for bookings. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
